Method
- Stir the cocoa powder into the sugar until evenly mixed, then cream in the soya marge.
- Add the vanilla essence and the chocolate pieces; mix well
- Mix in the flour until you achieve a soft dough (keep working at this, it can seem to take a while but it will 'stick' eventually)
- Divide into even balls (makes 16 regular or 8 giant cookies)
- Place on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper. Cook for 8 minutes.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack before removing from the paper.
