Strawberry & Chocolate UpsideCrumble


Ingredients

  • 12 Medium strawberries
  • 60g Rolled oats
  • 50g Maple syrup
  • 25g Soya marge
  • 1 batch Chocolate Pots dessert mix (use immediately)
  • 20g Dark chocolate (to serve)

Method

  1. Melt the soya marge and maple syrup in a saucepan and add the rolled oats, mixing well before allowing to cool
  2. Spoon the oaty crumble into the base of your chosen serving dishes
  3. Slice 8 of the strawberries and place them in layers on top of the oats (2 per portion)
  4. Cook the chocolate topping as per the instructions on the Chocolate Pots recipe page and pour over the strawberries
  5. Half the remaining strawberries and push them into the chocolate while still soft
  6. Allow to cool at room temperature before chilling
  7. Make chocolate curls by dragging a peeler along the edge of a piece of dark chocolate and sprinkle over before serving

Cooking Temperature: Low hob

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

Keeps For: 3 days

  • Can be made in advance.
  • Try different fruits (raspberries work well) or adding nuts to the oaty crumble.
